1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Placevu mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of the App

Placevu is a place discovery application that allows users to:

• Discover nearby places (restaurants, cafes, shops, etc.)
• View ratings, reviews, photos, amenities, and business details
• Compare places using AI-generated insights
• Search places using filters and autocomplete
• Receive AI-powered recommendations

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• If under 18, you must have parental/guardian consent

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App unlawfully
• Interfere with App performance or security
• Scrape or extract data

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App lawfully
• Provide accurate permissions (including location)
• Not bypass security mechanisms
• Not misuse or manipulate location services

6. Location Services

• The App may use precise and approximate location
• Location is used in real-time only
• We do not store location data on our servers
• Denying permission may limit functionality

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including:

• Google Places API
• Google Maps
• Google AdMob
• Apple Maps (iOS, if applicable)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Billing

We do not control third-party data and are not responsible for:

• Accuracy of place data
• Service outages
• Third-party actions

8. Advertisements

• Ads may be shown via Google AdMob
• Ads may be personalized or non-personalized
• We are not responsible for third-party ad content

9. In-App Purchases

For Android (Google Play):

• Purchases are handled by Google Play
• Refunds are subject to Google Play policies

For iOS (Apple App Store):

• Purchases are handled by Apple
• Refunds must be requested through Apple

General:

• Purchases are non-transferable
• Pricing may change at any time

10. AI Features

• AI-generated content is for informational purposes only
• May contain inaccuracies or outdated information
• Not professional advice

11. Intellectual Property

• App design, branding, and code belong to Placevu
• Third-party data belongs to respective providers (e.g., Google)
• Unauthorized use is prohibited

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of place data
• Continuous availability
• Error-free performance

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Placevu shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data or revenue
• Errors in third-party content
• Decisions based on AI output

Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 3 months.

14. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if Terms are violated.

You may stop using the App at any time.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Disputes shall be subject to courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance.

18. Apple-Specific Terms

• Apple Inc. is not responsible for the App or its content
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support
• Apple is not liable for any claims related to the App
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms
